Cape Coral resident, Zachary Panino, 14, and a dozen of his family members volunteered to separate turkey meat for the Thanksgiving outreach, Feeding the 5000, at Lamb of God Church off Estero Parkway.
More than 400 volunteers are working together this week to prepare and deliver 6,500 meals to people in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties.
The volunteer outreach is still looking for drivers on Thanksgiving and monetary donations.
