This was my first time volunteering at Feeding 5,000. It was a most memorable experience! What a wonderful group of volunteers. We showed up for 4 days and never noticed anyone to get upset or having an unkind word. The work, and it was work, flowed like a peaceful river. We hope to be there next year and will certainly donate to this cause. Lamb of God Church is setting an example of Christian love and compassion! God bless all and may you enjoy a blessed Advent and Christmas season.

What a wonderful day full of wonderful and hard-working volunteers! My fingers are sore from getting cut on the foil lids and it is all worth it. When I feel the soreness from my fingers I remember what a tremendous effort was put in by everyone today.

One thing that is not mentioned is that we have people from all religions and faiths. Jim even saw a car that had a "Pagan" bumper sticker. That shows how open and welcoming we are, that even a Pagan feels good coming to help us out. True Christian fellowship.

This is a community effort that rewards everyone. Share your talent and come and help us prepare food or deliver it.

Last year was my first year of volunteering in Feed the 5000-it is a WONDERFUL event and a blessing to those receiving as well as to those giving. I was very impressed with the outreach, and know that Christ's love is shining through each and every volunteer.

The first year I came only because my mom made me. Since then I have helped every year and grown with my faith and grown with the Feeding of the 5000! :)

It's that feeling that you know you're doing good, I'm spreading my faith, the Word, and I'm doing what people need. Most of us have been helped by someone at some point in our lives – it's time to pay it forward.

It's such a blessing to be able to spread the light of God throughout Southwest Florida. It's an opportunity to put my faith in motion and live like Christ.
